Karen Greenberg
Legal Nurse Consultant

Karen’s clinical nursing background and experience in legal nurse consulting make her a resource to attorneys throughout the firm as they are managing matters involving medical issues. She is involved primarily in products liability and personal injury cases of varying complexities, including the defense of class action and multi-plaintiff suits. Karen, a registered professional nurse, works closely with the firm’s attorneys and often is involved in analyzing and summarizing medical records and pertinent professional literature; working with experts in various health care specialties; and preparing for depositions and trials.

As a critical care nurse at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Karen concentrated in the areas of neurosurgery, emergency medicine, post-anesthesia recovery, and as assistant clinical coordinator in the hospital’s laser facility for the palliative treatment of colorectal and endobronchial cancers. In addition, Karen also has experience in the field of adult home care and pediatric care. In 1999, she began her practice as a legal nurse consultant, working for IMX Medical Management. In 2002, she joined Daller Greenberg & Dietrich, LLP and came to Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy, LLP as a result of the 2010 merger.

In her free time, Karen loves being active outdoors running, biking, and skiing. She enjoys partaking in the many cultural and educational opportunities Philadelphia offers.
