A strong researcher and writer, Claire brings a high level of attention to detail and thoroughness to the business litigation, labor and employment, and healthcare matters she handles. She brings court, corporate, and law firm perspectives to the role.
During law school, Claire was a judicial intern for the Hon. David G. Larimer, U.S. District Court, Western District of New York where she drafted opinions, analyzed attorney briefs and plea agreements to advise on questions during oral argument, and researched and wrote bench memoranda.
With a particular interest in healthcare and pharmaceutical related fields, Claire interned in the General Counsel office of an international biopharmaceutical company where she worked on corporate regulatory matters and company contracts, as well as data privacy and state medical regulatory compliance issues.
Claire earned her J.D. at Boston University School of Law where she served as Managing Editor for the Boston University American Journal of Law & Medicine, participated in the William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, and was selected to represent the law school at the ABA Regional Client Counseling Competition. She was a Lawyering Fellow for the First Year Legal Research & Writing course, and a Research Assistant for Professor Katharine Silbaugh, where she conducted research and wrote memoranda for a legal article on voting rights.
Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal at a labor and employment firm, and while in college she worked as a file clerk at a large multi-state defense firm. She was also a legal intern in the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. Claire’s passion for law preceded her law school journey. She was Captain of the Mock Trial Team during her undergrad years at Boston University, and was a volunteer coach of the Penfield High School Mock Trial Team.
Claire is proficient in French, having minored in it in college, and enjoys skiing, cooking, and traveling with friends.
