With a strong focus on writing, research, and interpersonal skills, Aryssa is proud to serve her clients within the realm of civil litigation. Focusing on matters involving medical malpractice, labor and employment, and insurance recovery and counseling, Aryssa also brings clerking and trial-related experience to the table.
A native of Yucca Valley, California, Aryssa graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 2022. While at Syracuse, Aryssa was a member of several academic legal organizations, including the College’s Travis H.D. Lewin Advocacy Honor Society (as a member of the Trial Division) and the College’s nationally acclaimed Trial Team. She competed with the Trial Team in the National Civil Trial Competition in 2020, which involved arguing a wrongful death case.
Prior to joining Ward Greenberg, Aryssa worked as a law clerk at a plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice firm, where she researched and drafted legal memoranda. She also worked in Syracuse University College of Law’s Bankruptcy and Low-Income Tax Clinics, which focuses on matters involving filing Chapter 7 bankruptcies and various other related issues (such as filing for innocent spouse relief) for socioeconomically disadvantaged people in the Syracuse metro area. Before law school, Aryssa was a licensed Property and Casualty insurance broker in California.
Aryssa enjoys a variety of activities in her free time, including cooking, playing and watching tennis, going to the gym, and spending time with family.
