Ward Greenberg Selects 2021 Diversity Scholars

Ward Greenberg is pleased to announce the selection of its 2021 Diversity Scholars, Kristen Crow, a first-year student at the University at Buffalo School of Law and Snigdha Sharma, a second-year student at Temple University Beasley School of Law.

The nationally recognized Ward Greenberg Diversity Scholar Program offers first-year law students the opportunity to participate in a 10-week paid summer appointment. In addition to performing meaningful work for the firm, the program includes a short-term secondment with an institutional client, providing the Scholars a chance to experience the duties and perspective of a lawyer with outside organizations. Successful Scholars are invited back to the firm for a summer associate position the following year.

Firm partner Jeff Harradine has overseen the firm’s Diversity Scholar Program since its inception six years ago and maintains that developing an inclusive team that prioritizes diverse perspectives is essential to providing exceptional representation to firm clients. At Ward Greenberg, this mentality is woven into the very fabric of the firm’s recruiting program. Not only are scholars mentored and expected to contribute substantively to matters, but they are also encouraged to take full advantage of the unique opportunities to form deep connections and relationships with attorneys and clients that are at the heart of the Diversity Scholar Program.

“We are delighted to be working with Kristen and Snigdha this summer,” said Harradine. “They have distinguished themselves at their respective law schools and are talented attorneys-in-training who will add much to our practice this summer and in the future.”
