Ward Greenberg is pleased to announce that Katerina Kramarchyk will receive the Monroe County Bar Association’s (MCBA) 2019 Emerging Bar Leader Award. The Award will be presented at the MCBA Annual Installation Dinner on June 12.
The Emerging Bar Leader Award, created in 2010, recognizes a member of the Monroe County Bar Association that has been admitted ten years or fewer and who has made a significant contribution to the Bar Association through participation on committees or other Bar-sponsored activities and who has demonstrated the potential to be a leader in the profession. Katerina joined Ward Greenberg in early 2019. She received her joint J.D./M.B.A. from Albany Law School and Union Graduate College in 2013. While earning her dual degree, she served as Associate Editor for the Albany Law School Journal of Science & Technology and was selected to the Justinian Honor Society and the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. Katerina received her Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Stony Brook University in 2010.
An active member of the Rochester legal community, Katerina is a member of the Federal and Commercial Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association, serves on the Finance Committee of the Monroe County Bar Association, volunteers with Rochester Teen Court, and is a Program Co-Chair for Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys. In addition, she volunteers as a Committee Member for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Katerina was recognized with the Raymond J. Pauley Award in 2017.
