Dennis R. Callahan, Partner

Practice Focus & Experience

Mr. Callahan’s practice includes the defense of manufacturers, retailers and property owners in a variety of product liability, premises liability and other personal injury matters. Currently, he is devoting a significant amount of his practice to the defense of pharmaceutical mass tort claims, and he is familiar with the unique issues that can arise in large-scale pharmaceutical litigation. In addition, Mr. Callahan represents businesses in commercial litigation, contract disputes and business related tort claims, and he has significant experience with the complex legal and factual issues that arise in retrospective and loss-sensitive premium collection disputes. Through that work, he has developed an understanding of the various workers’ compensation experience rating systems, the mathematical models supporting those rating systems and the impact of individual claim management decisions on rating factors and future insurance costs.
