Ms. Cornetta handles complex, multi-party commercial litigation in federal and state courts in New York, Pennsylvania, and California. She has substantial experience in all aspects of the discovery process, including mass document collection, review, and production; witness preparation and depositions; and related motion practice. Ms. Cornetta also has drafted numerous dispositive motions, and has assisted in preparing cases for trial, addressing evidentiary and procedural issues; and preparing pretrial submissions, including pretrial statements, pretrial briefs, exhibits, motions in limine, and complex jury instructions.
Ms. Cornetta currently is an integral member of a litigation team representing a Fortune 500 company in the resolution of asbestos-related liabilities via a plan of reorganization utilizing a Section 524(g) trust and in related insurance coverage litigation. She has experience analyzing complex insurance coverage issues involving mass tort and environmental claims under commercial general liability policies. In addition, Ms. Cornetta represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters involving a variety of topics including breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty cases, environmental and toxic tort actions, intellectual property disputes, and products liability cases.
