Amy L. Hansell, Associate

Practice Focus and Experience

Amy Hansell has more than five years experience representing corporations and individuals in a variety of civil defense litigation matters. She has litigated matters in both state and federal courts, including jury trials, appeals, arbitrations, and mediations. Her practice has been concentrated in the areas of premises liability, products liability, general torts, and commercial and business disputes. She is a New Jersey Contributing Editor for the Product Liability Desk Reference: A Fifty State Compendium, published annually by Aspen Law & Business.

Ms. Hansell’s defense experience includes defending clients in cases alleging liability due to violations of the New Jersey Dram Shop Act, negligent security, and for a variety of injuries, illnesses, and diseases. She has also worked on cases alleging injuries arising from exposure to a variety of substances including hormone replacement therapy. Ms. Bargerhuff’s business litigation experience includes representing clients in disputes alleging breach of contract and a variety of business torts.

Outside of work, Ms. Hansell avidly follows Philadelphia sports, is currently taking golf lessons, and enjoys touring local wineries and attending wine tastings with the Jersey Devil Wine Society.
